After 3 to 4 hours of testing with our new host, it turns out that the new setup cannot handle the attacks at the scale we have experienced them.
Therefor we spent another 2 hours researching and found a host where they allowed us to run preliminary tests before ordering. This host passed the test and we have placed the order with them. They have also given us a delivery time of 18 to 24 hours for everything we need. Once we take delivery it'll take us a few hours to set them up and a further 2 to 3 hours to test. after that we can announce launch.
This does all result in further delays but we already know the new host can handle everything. They will even provide a monitoring service where by each attack is monitored and the servers security adjusted to handle it. If things go smoothly, everyone is happy.
Many of you are constantly spamming negative comments on the forums and we understand why, but do you honestly think we are enjoying this? last 3 to 4 days has been frustrating for us too so relax and either join us in making this work, or leave. If we didn't care about the community, we would have slept peacefully and enjoyed the weekend, not work like dogs.
